It may not sound like much, but for my almost 50 year old self, it was a feat. The last 3 weeks of December 2022 were super busy. It started out with an event for RCCS in Boro Park by my friend Shavy Grossberg's home. We had about 100 ladies attend and it was amazing.
The following week, I performed for a Hamaspik of Kings County dinner in Boro Park for mothers and caretakers. There were 400+ people. Then, the following week, I performed for Hamaspik of Monroe and Monsey at the Atrium (in Monsey) on Tuesday and Thursday for 400+ women at each event! It was truly a great experience and I met the most wonderful and inspiring women! I am excited to see what 2023 will bring!!

Well, it's been a long 3 years! The last time I performed was 2019. Since then, I've been doing alot of healing from a major trauma and some medical issues. B'H, I've been able to come through.
I was approached to give my story on the Hamaspik Hotline in December, and from there, performances are being requested. I must admit, I'm not as young as I used to be so doing performances back to back are not so wise, lol. But I always look forward to the incredible women I get to meet! I must send a HUGE thank you to JULIE KAPLAN for helping to set up the performances in Canada. Julie, you are a wonderful, beautiful person and I am so grateful for all your help! My morning got off to a rock start, but it definitely improved! ; ) Ok, total nachas report! - Yes, I'm braggin' because I'm so proud!
My boys LOVE to play with the building toys Zoobs. They are SSOOOOO creative. Check out these insane creations!! The bike is cu-ray-zee!! I am still amazed when a song just comes into my head. This one was a record. Two words came into my head and from there, a snowball of words and music. This song is TOTALLY upbeat, with fantastic rhythms!!
I can't tell you those two words, because this song is so significant, I feel that it will also be the theme of the whole album AND the name of the album! I have one more upbeat song to write and then I think I'll be done. Now that I have the name, I can start designing the cover. Very exciting!!!!!! |
